The Greater San Antonio Camera Club (GSACC) holds its meeting on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays’ of each month from 7-9pm at the Lions Field Adult Center. The 1st Thursday is an educational meeting and the 3rd Thursday is competition night, which alternates with prints one month and digital images the next.
Print months: January, March, May, July, September and November.
Digital months: February, April, June, August, October and December.
GSACC was organized in 1951 as the Woodlawn Camera Club, changing its name in 2001 to Greater San Antonio Camera Club to better reflect the current make-up of the club. It is a nonsectarian organization with membership open to photographic enthusiasts of all ages and proficiencies. The purpose of this club is to foster interest in photography, provide an effective medium for exchanging ideas, develop and improve the photographic skills and competence of its members, and to cooperate with other similar organizations in worthwhile photographic activities.
